Scottish Rural Parliament 2018 – Volunteers required!
The Scottish Rural Parliament will take place on the 14/15/16th of November 2018 in Stranraer. The
event takes place over three days and brings together 400 people from throughout Scotland. The
event aims to raise the profile of rural needs and successes, connect rural community
representatives with decision-makers, and share ideas and practice across rural communities.
We are currently looking for volunteers to fill a number of exciting roles
– facilitators and reporters for workshops, stewards and volunteers to coordinate entertainment. If
you are interested in volunteering we would like to hear from you – no qualifications are required,
just an enthusiasm for the event and a willingness to learn!
Expenses will be covered and accommodation provided if required.
Training will also be provided to volunteers undertaking facilitation and reporting roles.
