Victim Support D&G

Victim Support Scotland is the largest provider and leading voluntary organisation in Scotland helping people affected by crime. The service provides practical help, emotional support and information to victims, witnesses and others affected by crime in the local community and in the courts. In Dumfries and Galloway Victim Support Scotland has offices in Dumfries and Stranraer. Tom McCulloch who is based in the Dumfries office said – “We very much appreciate the grant from the Holywood Trust. The money will be invested in front line services to sustain and develop our support for those affected by crime. Although no one expects to be a victim of crime it can happen to anyone and Victim Support understands the impact this can have. Our focus in Dumfries and Galloway is to work with local partners like the Holywood Trust to provide a range of support services that help people rebuild their lives. ”
